Nate is an Army veteran and the Commercial/Government Account Manager at Simformotion.  In today’s episode, he gives Jason the lowdown on why simulators are great for training operators. Plus, they discuss the SimScholars program and the importance of recruiting high school students. Teens are rethinking college, and it’s perfect timing. U.S. companies need to fill 825,000 operator jobs.  Tune in as Nate and Jason talk about how to attract young folks to meaningful careers as heavy equipment operators, how to start training programs, and different approaches to simulation. --- Listen on: [ApplePodcast ![ApplePodcast](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/ApplePodcast.svg) ](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/recruiting-high-schoolers-as-heavy-equipment-operators/id1706157423?i=1000629939403) [SpotifyPodcast ![SpotifyPodcast](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/SpotifyPodcast.svg) ](https://open.spotify.com/episode/2yjecH5CUDsIU3kH3WowoR?si=vL03-6LGQQORLOkg9WSisA) [GooglePodcast ![GooglePodcast](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/GooglePodcast.svg) ](https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vZGlydC13b3JsZA/episode/YjQzNGQ1ZmUtNjE0Yi0xMWVlLWI3ZDEtNTcyMDUzMmJjYjhh?sa=X&ved=0CAQQkfYCahcKEwjg15LdkNiBAxUAAAAAHQAAAAAQQA) [ApplePodcast ![ApplePodcast](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/ApplePodcast.svg) ](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/recruiting-high-schoolers-as-heavy-equipment-operators/id1706157423?i=1000629939403) [SpotifyPodcast ![SpotifyPodcast](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/SpotifyPodcast.svg) ](https://open.spotify.com/episode/2yjecH5CUDsIU3kH3WowoR?si=vL03-6LGQQORLOkg9WSisA) [GooglePodcast ![GooglePodcast](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/GooglePodcast.svg) ](https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5tZWdhcGhvbmUuZm0vZGlydC13b3JsZA/episode/YjQzNGQ1ZmUtNjE0Yi0xMWVlLWI3ZDEtNTcyMDUzMmJjYjhh?sa=X&ved=0CAQQkfYCahcKEwjg15LdkNiBAxUAAAAAHQAAAAAQQA) **[PREVIOUS](https://www.buildwitt.com/learning-hub/contractor-resources/dirt-world-podcast/cash-flow-confidence-and-core-values-with-scott-peper)** [![Cash Flow, Confidence, and Core Values With Scott Peper](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/DW-Podcast-Cover-Episode-8.png)](https://www.buildwitt.com/learning-hub/contractor-resources/dirt-world-podcast/cash-flow-confidence-and-core-values-with-scott-peper) ### [Cash Flow, Confidence, and Core Values With Scott Peper](https://www.buildwitt.com/learning-hub/contractor-resources/dirt-world-podcast/cash-flow-confidence-and-core-values-with-scott-peper) **[NEXT](https://www.buildwitt.com/learning-hub/contractor-resources/dirt-world-podcast/americas-got-construction-talent-with-aimee-conrad-hill)** [![](https://resources.buildwitt.com/hubfs/DW-Podcast-Cover-Episode-10.png)](https://www.buildwitt.com/learning-hub/contractor-resources/dirt-world-podcast/americas-got-construction-talent-with-aimee-conrad-hill) ### [America’s Got Construction Talent With Aimee Conrad-Hill](https://www.buildwitt.com/learning-hub/contractor-resources/dirt-world-podcast/americas-got-construction-talent-with-aimee-conrad-hill) ## Latest Episodes [Episode 275 Goodfellow Bros Book Report Part 2!
