Can this be used in a classroom setting?

Yes. BuildWitt Training can be used in a group setting, whether you choose to conduct training in the classroom or the field.

Will I be able to see what my people are watching and how far they are in the lessons?

Yes. You’ll be able to see courses, lessons, and learning plans that have been assigned to employees; how far they are within a specific learning track; what they’ve scored on their assessments; and a heck of a lot more all in one admin view.

What is the implementation process?

1. We'll host an implementation meeting within 7 days.
2.  1-2 weeks later, we'll have another meeting to review your setup and rollout strategy.

Can I use this to onboard new employees?

Absolutely. Our training product is built specifically to help you train and onboard your new hires or current team. You can create custom learning plans for your new hires, for specific positions, mix and match training, and more.

Can we integrate this with our current LMS?

Yes, it's possible, thanks to BuildWitt Training's API. We do charge for setting up integrations.

Can I export reports to Excel?

Excel reporting is not available at this time. Instead, use the built-in admin dashboards to view group and individual training performance across your team.

What is BuildWitt Training?

BuildWitt Training is a simple-to-use desktop and mobile-friendly training management system that comes packed with 800+ industry-specific, expert-led, engaging micro lessons and allows for unlimited custom content.

What is microlearning?

Microlearning consists of expert insights delivered in short clips (only 1:30 - 3:00 minutes long). This concept is proven to help individuals relate to the material, and quickly understand new concepts.

Is content included with the product?

Yes, that’s one of the biggest differences between us and anyone else. We’ve recruited the experts, captured them on camera on actual job sites around real equipment, and broken down these lessons into micro-learning videos that allow your people to learn from them frequently. The platform already has over 800 video lessons, and we will continue adding content to the library.

Is there a priority list of canned content that BuiltWitt plans to focus on as it builds out the Content Library?

We have the roadmap of content we're currently working on in the "Coming Soon" section of our course catalog. Our customers' feedback is always valued and will continue to guide our content roadmap as it has so far.

Can you all help us produce content or do you have a bolt-on app/process that will help us produce content?

We are exploring producing custom content for our partners—this is something we plan to do as our team grows.

Could we partner with you all to create some content that we both share and BuildWitt could use as public content?

Yes, we have a professional media team in-house that created our BuildWitt Training courses and can help create courses for your team.

Are there notifications when new content is released?

Yes, we send out monthly customer newsletters highlighting new content.

Do you have OSHA and MSHA training?

Yes, we partnered with ClickSafety to offer over 300 safety certification courses directly through BuildWitt Training.

Do you have safety training?

Yes, we have several safety-focused learning plans, along with safety being a topic in our role-based training.

Is there a Spanish version?

Yes, Spanish subtitles are available on all of our preloaded content. You're also able to add your own Spanish content or upload subtitles to your custom content.

What do you have for toolbox talks?

Most lessons within the BuildWitt Library make for great toolbox talks since they're short and engaging, but we do have a learning plan dedicated to toolbox talks.

How many hours of video do you have?

As of May 2023, BuildWitt Training has 800+ videos with over 37 hours of content.

How long will this content last for my team?

It depends on how you utilize the content. The content can also be rewatched as many times as you want for improved recall.

Will I be able to upload my own content for training, onboarding, and more?

Yes, we’ll give you a ton of content already, but you’ll be able to add as much of your own as you desire. Add a welcome message into an onboarding track, or a video from your President talking about culture, it’s completely up to you. The more you take what we’ve already packed into this software and mix it with your own company culture, the more you’ll get out of it.

How many videos are there?

800+ with another 250+ to be completed this year.

Is there a limit to the file size that can be uploaded to the platform?

From an infrastructure standpoint, we don’t believe so. We've tested up to 4GB video files which are larger than most encoded Hollywood movies.

Is there a limit to the number of files that can be uploaded to the platform?

No. There was no need for us to put a limit on the amount of training content you can provide to your team.

Is BuildWitt Training cloud-based?

Yes. This helps keep things running fast, your data secure, and your apps easy to update.

Does BuildWitt have a mobile app?

Yes. BuildWitt Training is available as a mobile app, so your team can access the content on their mobile devices.

Can videos be made visible only to certain groups?

Yes. You have full control over what content you want your team(s) to see.

Are PDF/Presentations/Text files supported?

Yes, BuildWitt Training supports various document file types.

What video formats are supported?

Most popular video file formats are supported.

How are notifications shared?

Notifications are sent straight to your team's smartphones like other apps when they receive a new assignment, have something overdue, and more.

Can videos be uploaded via the mobile app?

Not at this time.

Can you search by topic? 

Not at this time, but courses and lessons are organized by role and can be searched for by title.

Can this be used on the job site? How is that getting done?

Yes. Offline mode allows your team to access Training content from anywhere.

Can you switch out users on Training while keeping the same amount of licenses?

Yes. You can switch users on the admin portal via the Subscriptions tab.
